Collective Delirium

Album cover Collective Delirium

This album is part of a collection of songs that I wrote from 2011 to 2017 some of them with my writing buddy and co-producer in other projects, Gilles Aniorte Tomassian. It was produced, recorded and arranged by Chris Larumbe Trio in South East Asia. The Art is by Andreina Aragoneses. Collective Delirium explores the nuances of intercultural and global relationships, the vertiginous ecstasy of a generation in the verge of an industrial revolution.  It explores our disappointments, our unpleasantness and indifference but also our hopes for a brighter future.

Sonido Obscuro

Sonido Obscuro is my first EP. Recorded in Chicago at Platectonic Studios with Frank Orrall and Gravity Studios. With Gustavo Cortiñas on drums and Ryan T.Hope on Bass. It was thought out as a song cycle. The songs are all interconnected by a leitmotif. Art Cover by Andreina Aragoneses and Marco Lukini.

Refugio

Christian Larumbe with Gustavo Cortinas and Kitt Lyles

Refugio is a captivating collection of Latin American anthems reimagined through the intimate lens of a jazz guitar trio. Recorded at the legendary Electrical Audio studio in Chicago, Refugio showcases Christian Larumbe’s eclectic musical style. The album benefits from the creativity and artistic sensitivity of Chicago-based composers Gustavo Cortiñas and Kitt Lyles, both accomplished multi-genre artists in their own right and co-producers of Refugio.

Featuring prominent soloists from the vibrant Chicago music scene, such as saxophonist Roy McGrath and trumpet player Emily Kuhn, Refugio delivers a fresh and innovative take on Latin American music.

Refugio was mixed and mastered at Studiomedia Recording, Evanston, IL. Engineered by Scott Steinman, assisted by Lauren “Mac” MacDonald
